I have so much things to say. Typed it all a moment ago but Blogger decided to be troublesome and irritating so I lost it all. So.......

Start All Over

Today we finished the Non-Verbal Communication topic. It ended with a group work (it seems compulsory... I. Have. No. Idea.) and my mates chose me to be their representative. It was depressing lol but I stood up anyway. Public speaking is never my thing... and it's not heritable either. Yeah. I was a nervous mess.

My group is way too hilarious. One of them started to explain about a situation and then the other one interfered and said "kereta mangkuk"... I was trying to understand what she meant, and by the end of the discussion all we had were four points, and one "kereta mangkuk" point. Whatever she was trying to say, I'm sorry, I don't get it... and to top it all off, I think I like my group mates. Yay, I'm finally not "forever alone" anymore!

It doesn't matter if you're an A-crowd in high school... it doesn't matter if you have like an army to defend you when you were accused or being picked at back then. It doesn't matter if you were the admin of your senior class. Hey, I'm still struggling here, on terms of friends and fiiting in, I mean. It takes time and efforts. It's already my third week here and I'm still going from one person to one person, aside from my group mates, to see if they have the quality like my best buddies last year. This sounds very mean, but I can't help but be choosy, it's just that what I had last year was one you can call magnificent and wonderful.Being choosy can be beneficial too, you know.
I miss my friends...
I'm worried that I won't have lunch buddies for next semester (and the upcoming semesters)... LOL. Oh dear... so much for trying to fit in.
Can't help but wonders where is my 'confidence' these days...
Note to self: MAKE FRIENDS!!!

Half of the members were not in the picture though. This was taken last year during our family trip to Kg. Pudak where we hiked, kayaked, ate and saw one of my little uncle fell into a fish pool.
Most of us resides in Kampong Keriam, Tutong.
The black and yellow shirt is our family's official t-shirt. So if you see peeps walking around with those shirt on, they're my relatives! :)
PS I'm not fluent in Tutong dialect if you're wondering.

A Little Bit... of Everything

Hi.
I was on Twitter this morning when I saw @BreakingNews tweet about Steve Job's passing. At first I thought it was just a hoax. (can you even believe the media these days? No.) It's real though. Some were saddened by the sudden loss, some were mourning but some (hi, Twitter, you should be ashamed) even can't wait one day to start making fun of people's death. Those trending topic on Twitter hours ago were enough to show how disrespectful some of those peeps are. iClouds, iHeaven, iSad, iDead, anything else?
Even his "biggest rivals" were very thoughtful, how could you?
Alright. Lets stop talking about this loss.
MIC experienced a short blackout today and I thought classes were going to be canceled. But then... the lights flickered open, the screen lights up and the CPU starts buzzing. Oh well. This is a school. Not a shopping complex. Things can go wrong all they want, those technicians can make it right. Oh well.

MIC and Hogwarts

Hi.
It's already my second week at MIC. My journey has been wonderful so far, but if you start at a new school, it's kind of a little bit different. The 'wonderful' feeling is different. Especially when you're that "extra ordinary" socially awkward and shy kid, but not totally an outcast. I made new friends, but its still awkward.
It took time to get used to everything, e.g waking up everyday knowing that there won't be those "cat-ish" friends greeting you with their silly faces when you step into the class for the first time in the day. Going to school, but not having to put on your uniform because you've gone "international" and lots more.
OH and I have received my Pottermore email! The Sorting Hat put me in Ravenclaw and my wand is black walnut with dragon core, twelve and a half inches, just appropriate for a "newbie" in Hogwarts. I'M IN RAVENCLAW!!!!!!! Its still surreal to me, and I know for a fact that its only an online game, lol.
